Item Description
3.25” tall made of stiff celluloid in the shape of an elk’s head with multi pronged antlers. A single prong is missing off the top right but eleven prongs remain intact. Small brass loop at the top holds purple ribbon symbolic of the group although it must have been worn with a pin as there is no attached bar pin. Text reads “Syracuse Lodge No. 31/B.P.O.E./Cincinnati, July 18-04. A beautiful and wonderful example of celluloid’s flexibility in design. Only example we’ve seen.
