Item Description
1.25” with backpaper by W&H but larger text “Copyrighted 1901 By The Nut-Shell Publishing Co.” Design is a take off of the one featuring two women forming the North and South American continents. Here the ladies are replaced by a pair of monkeys. The one representing South America is scratching himself and smoking a cigar. Blue background has about a half dozen tiny darker dots and side edge at 10 o’clock has a 1/16” nick with a partially loose tiny piece of celluloid showing just the slightest bit when the piece is viewed from the front. Button still has full gloss and great color. Scarce.
