Item Description
The buttons and badges are 5/8" to 2". The opener is 9" long. Included are enamel on metal badges for "Chicago Outer Belt/Safety Leader." Also "Pittsburgh Railways Company/Trainman." This has a pair of threaded posts on the reverse with brass caps. Additional items are choice color button with green celluloid hanger for 1927 meeting of "R.R. Veterans" in New England. Next is Elks button for "Rail Road Jubilee 1916." Next is brass heart suspending ribbon and celluloid showing the home of "Carhartt Union Made Gloves And Overalls." Next is WWI 1917 button reading "Patriotic Demonstration/The Reading Employees." Tiny traces of age on the button and flag ribbon. Next are a pair of celluloid frames accented by buttons, one of which includes "Century Of Progress Tour/New York Central Lines 1933." Additional items for PRR, Milwaukee Road, Long Island Railroad (enamel lapel stud), Baltimore & Ohio, Southern Pacific 20 Year pin, and several other buttons. The letter opener is celluloid with map designs on each side of the handle. Issued by "Kansas City Southern Railway/From The Heart Of America To The Gulf." Vast majority are Exc. to Mint and display Mint.
