The smaller and more typically seen button is 1.75" showing the airship with gasoline company logo on the side. This reads "Honorary Pilot/Tydol Flying 'A' Airship." Small bit of light stain on the perimeter and pair of pinpoint nicks on edge at 7 o'clock. Next is a large 3.5" button which is the first we've seen. Reverse has brass back and bar pin. In addition to the title "Honorary Tydol Pilot" additional text reads "Airship Welcome/South Weymouth, Mass./May, 1947." Couple of small air marks under the celluloid across the red center panel although this detracts little from the appearance. Our photo may show a little dirt on left edge but this is now removed and the piece is Exc. and displays Mint. Rare.
