Item Description
Lot consists of 5x7" four-page folder for "The Lone Ranger Ranch," a theme park-like attraction w/Old West flair. Iverson Ranch, located just north of Hollywood and Los Angeles and nestled among the rocky cliffs and hills of Chatsworth, CA. became a center of western filming in the period of the 1930s through 1950s and was one of the sites for filming The Lone Ranger TV series. Folder gives information on the Ranch and mentions the Lone Ranger TV show, comic books and newspaper daily comic strip. Folder also goes on to mention its gift shop, where many Lone Ranger items could be purchased, such as the included pair of 2-7/8" tall salt and pepper shakers in the shape of oil lamps. Shakers have metal base and plastic globes/shades w/"Lone Ranger Ranch" name and painted floral accents. Scattered wear/aging. One has 1.25" crack to "shade." VG-Fine. Both are 1950s. Scarce lot.
