Item Description
Beemer served as the announcer for The Lone Ranger radio show from its first broadcast in 1933 and took over as the voice of The Lone Ranger from 1941 to the end of the series in 1955. Included here is 8" long Oxford Savings Bank check No. 2992 dated Oct. 7, 1964 and made out to the Oxford Lumber & Coal Co. on for $7.32. Signed in blue ink. Check has bank cancellation holes. Age tanned w/some scattered age spotting. Fine. This check was made out less than a year from Beemer's sudden death on March 1, 1965. Lot also includes 5.75x8.5" typed AP teletype message concerning his death. Aged and Fine. Lot also includes two newspaper clippings regarding his death. Aged and VF. All date to close to the time of his death. Comes with Hake's COA.
