Item Description
Pair of 3.25x4.25" photos. c. late 1930s. Young boy stands in front of display of life-size Lone Ranger on the back of a rearing Silver, facing camera wearing large cowboy hat and has toy guns drawn. Second photo features older girl in front of same display, also wearing a cowboy hat and holding two guns. The sign beside both reads "Christmas Greetings From The Lone Ranger And Gimbels - New York." Scattered lt. handling/edge wear. VF overall. These souvenir photos are rare and we've only offered a few of them in our 46 years, this being the first example we've seen w/a girl. Photos come w/3.25x6" card announcing Lone Ranger photo opportunity at Gimbels. Card has small image of Lone Ranger on Silver. Exc. Card is the first we've seen in our 46 years. Great trio to frame together.
