3.75x6.75x7/8" deep "Captain Marvel" box complete w/original matching cardboard insert. ©1948 Fawcett Pub. Inc. Insert shows wear around die-cut slots for watch and has obvious fading to red portions. Two .5" tears by slots for watch. Box has handling wear and slight fade to red areas as well as obvious aging. VG. Comes w/1" dia. chromed metal case "Mary Marvel" watch, complete w/original red vinyl-covered leather band. Dial features full-figure image of Mary Marvel. ©1948 Fawcett Publications Inc. This watch was issued in a box that featured Mary Marvel-related illustrations. This watch was also sold in "Captain Marvel" box w/a "Mary Marvel" paste-over. Watch shows lt. wear. Can be wound, but not running and would benefit from a cleaning. VF.
