Item Description
Buttons are 7/8" to 1.75". The first in row two has heavily spotted backpaper and the second in row four has metal back but with company name on curl. All the others have Baltimore Badge backpaper. Group starts with pair of c. 1904 early and scarce Santa buttons. Next are pair of ale buttons from Van Nostrand/Bunker Hill Breweries of Massachusetts. Next is for Gimbles. Next flag button with no text but matching second item of row three which has C.D. Kenney tea and coffee backpaper as do the buttons to the left and right of that one. Next is for Favorite Stoves. Next is scarce farm equipment button from Acme Harvesting Machine Co. Next is for evaporated milk, next is for Williamsport. The smaller buttons include choice color rarity for Tarita Cigars. Next reads "Push It" and shows what appears to be plug tobacco. Next reads "Push Things." Next is religious reading "League Of The Sacred Heart/Thy Kingdom Come." And final button reads "Old Harvest Corn Was The Cause Of It All." Buttons are all clean and without stain with the exception of the first in row one which has just the slightest touch on the rim edge. A nice early group with most of them being circa 1904.
