Item Description
7/8" button has .25" hairline cello split on the reverse but the cello lays very flat and the piece displays Mint from the front. It does not reference the KKK other than its 100% inscription. It comes with 3.75" wide stiff card. This has a crease and partial split .5" in from the right side. This is repaired on the reverse by the means of a red paper seal. Front of the card still displays very cleanly although tanned. The card is from Mobile Alabama with the name of the Klan at the top. Information is both printed and typed. A person is being invited as follows "The Undersigned Extends To You A Personal Invitation To Attend A Lecture By Hiram Evans To Be Held At First Protestant Church On Wednesday, June 3 1925." Evans was the Imperial Wizard of the KKK from 1922 to 1939. A rare pair.
