Item Description
1940s. Made by Freundlich Nov. Corp. N.Y. 15" tall composition dolls w/jointed arms and legs. All original clothes include: fabric uniforms and socks/stockings, oilcloth shoes. Lt. aging. Fine overall. Heads and hats are molded composition as one piece. Dolls have die-cut stiff paper tags pinned on chest. His says "Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition". Other two say “WAVES” and “WAAC” (later shortened to WAC) 1940s. One tag is Fine, other two are VF. Sailor’s leg needs to be restrung, compo has a few tiny stress lines on face and hands. Fine. WAAC composition is VF. Wave composition has a few stress lines on face front, moderate crazing to back of head. Fine appearance. Great for display. This company was most famous for their Douglas MacArthur doll.
