c. early 1940s. 11x16x2” deep box © Game Makers Inc., N.Y. Brightly colored/graphic lid has plane dropping bomb on ship action scene. Lid has dust soil and aging, bit of edge wear. VG+. Contents include brightly colored cardboard bomber with glossy illustrated surface paper. 15.5" wingspan. Center of plane has sliding mechanism with string attached. Player pulls string back to release marble bombs. Game also comes with two brightly colored cardboard battleships that have open stack area along with designated target areas with corresponding point values. Included instructions explain bomb dropping and point scoring using both included marbles as bombs. All contents are complete, bright and well-designed. Ship and bomber are Exc.
