©1926. 9.5x15.75” w/ 116 pages alternating between buff paper w/tipped in plates of directors , producers, or actors and related slick paper movie ads. Includes John Ford photo followed by three page “3 Bad Men” ad, Raoul Walsh photo and “What Price Glory” two page ad, F.W. Murnau photo page and text announcement page, Howard Hawks photo and “Cradle Snatchers” two page ad, Tom Mix art and two page ad, Buck Jones art and two page ad. Covers and spine have edge wear. VG+. Inside pages have a few moisture marks, otherwise bright and Fine/VF. Superb graphics throughout. Known for “Nosferatu” in 1922 and “Faust” in 1926, this book marks the historical first announcement of noted German director F.W. Murnau coming to America for Fox. He did three Fox features between 1927 and 1930. Extremely limited distribution, just sent to theater owners and those in the trade.
