12.75x12.75” hardcover w/136 pages alternating between matte finish w/tipped-in stars photos and matching superb high quality slick stiff paper ads. Stars and/or films include: Lon Chaney “Tell It To The Marines”, “Mysterious Island”, Buster Keaton “Battling Butler”, Greta Garbo, Lillian Gish “Annie Laurie”, “Ben Hur”. Includes several John Held illustrations. Front end papers by Tony Sarg have giant Colonial “Father Knick” startled as he looks at various Broadway theaters w/MGM marquees. Covers have wear and aging, left side front cover spine area is missing some paper. First few non-ad pages have dust soil. Overall covers Good, most contents VF/ Exc. Impressive. Wonderful design and graphics throughout. Extremely limited distribution, just sent to theater owners and those in the trade.
