Item Description
c. 1898. 12” diameter made by Chas. W. Shonk Co. Litho. Chicago. Superb graphics of ship steaming along the high seas. Rim design has patriotic flags, shields, and cannons. Tray is lightly tanned w/a few minor scuffs. VF. The Maine was the Navy’s second commissioned battleship, sunk in Cuba on Feb.15, 1898 leading us into the Spanish-American War.
