Item Description
First is 1.75” issued by Syracuse “Dry Goods” dealer. Listed as Hake #3200 with 2004 guide value of $425.00. This has surfaces scratches although just noticeable in reflected light plus nicks and scuffs at several places around the rim edge. Next is highly desirable and rare “Marvel Flour Souvenir/Our President’s Visit 1902/Listman Mill Co. La Crosse, Wis.” This button has all over tanning plus numerous but tiny craze cracks in the celluloid covering. It still retains its color and full gloss. Hake #3248 with 204 guide value of $750.00. Next is unlisted 7/8” showing TR and reading “Third Ward Club.” Light staining and with several long cello craze cracks. Next pair are of the same rim design but on one he is in Rough Rider uniform. This is Hake #247 with 2004 guide value of $154.00. The civilian clothes version is unlisted in Hake. Both have noticeably faded red segments on the rim and the Rough Rider has tiny celluloid craze marks as well. Last is from 1912 and it is Hake #179. Some scattered spotting but still with color and gloss. The four buttons in the Hake Guide have 2004 prices totaling $1414.00.
