Item Description
Each piece is 4-1/8” tall and largely identical except one is primarily in brass luster and the other primarily in bronze luster. Each has hanger at top inscribed “Washington.” Ribbons are inscribed “Inauguration.” The cross designs below each hold an inserted brass medalet with McKinley’s portrait name and 1896 date. The reverse of each medalet reads “Inaugurated President March 4. 1897.” Tiny age traces on the fabric but very minor. Metal parts are essentially Mint. Sen. Charles Dick Collection.
