Item Description
10x12x4.5" deep box shows obvious wear w/large areas of insect damage to white portions of surface paper (mostly on sides) and scattered moisture staining. Good. Multiple Toymakers. ©1967 RKO General, Inc./Videocraft. Based on "The King Kong Show," an American/Japanese children's cartoon series produced in 1966 by Videocraft of the US, and Japan's Toei Animation. ABC ran the series in the US between Sept. 10, 1966, and Aug. 31, 1969. In this series, the giant ape befriends the Bond Family, w/whom he goes on various adventures, saving the world from monsters, robots, aliens, mad scientists and other threats. Set includes large 8-3/8" tall soft plastic King Kong figure w/small magnet in his right hand. This is used to pick up any of the four included small soft plastic figures of Professor Bond, Bobby, Susan and Captain Englehorn. Rest of contents include three-piece Skull Island, pair of trees, canoe, animal trap, 15" soft plastic natives figures, a three-piece hut, two spears, two of three bridges for island and 14 plastic animals. Missing only one bridge segment and kettle. Contents are Exc. overall. Rare and first we've offered.
