Item Description
Original box w/bw illustration contains 5" wide by 26" long (30.25" counting extended wire attached to end) by 5" tall tin litho toy. Comes w/4.5" long free-wheeling ski/cart that has attached wooden skier figure who "holds" wire poles. c. 1950s. Inclined base has lithographed scenes of ski resort and skiers, as well as "Ski-Jumper" name. When skier is placed at top, he proceeds down ramp where he triggers spring-loaded platform that launches him over cardboard scene attached to wire at end. Works perfectly. Scattered wear from use, w/tiny paint nicks/scratches. VF overall. Box shows scattered lt. wear, mostly to end flaps. Fine overall. Interesting design.
