Item Description
2.5x5x4.75" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key comes in nicely illustrated triangular box. TPS, Japan. 1950s. Box has nice illustrations of different animals in barber shop. Box shows lt. handling wear and and rust on staples on aged back panel. Fine. Toy depicts mouse as barber w/straight razor and brush shaving a rabbit who is in barber's chair. The mouse's head moves side to side and both arms move as if lathering and shaving the rabbit. Mouse's ears are vinyl. Toy has lt. traces of wear, but Exc. overall. One of the classic TPS windups.
