Item Description
Rawlings Official NL A. Bartlett Giamatti model RO-N ball has been signed in area to the left of Giamatti's printed signature in black ink "I'm Sorry I Bet On Baseball - Pete Rose." This is especially ironic given that this is a Giamatti model ball as it was Giamatti who negotiated the agreement that terminated the Pete Rose betting scandal by permitting Rose to voluntarily withdraw from the sport, avoiding further punishment. Ball has some scattered aging but remains clean and Fine w/a great inscription/signature. Next is 34" long Rawlings Adirondack "Big Stick - Barry Bonds" model wooden baseball bat that has been signed in blue felt tip pen on the barrel next to Bond's printed name. Bonds had a controversial career, notably as a central figure in baseball's steroids scandal. Exc. w/bold signature. Great pair of signed items from two of baseball's most notorious figures. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
