First issue published by Marvel Comics Group Apr., 1964. Issue includes the first appearance of Daredevil and his alter-ego Matt Murdock as well as first appearances of Foggy Nelson and Karen Page. Issue features the first appearance of Daredevil's classic red and yellow costume which would later change in issue #7. Issue has overall handling wear with pinch creases to spine and moderate aging to cover. .25" split at top of spine. One small corner chip on cover. Lt. handling creases on front cover. .25" edge tear right middle cover (amateur repair on inside with small spot of white paint) and a tiny pinhole that goes through whole issue at far right edge. A nice complete copy with no major chipping and nice eye appeal. VG.
