2.25x4" ticket w/serial "No. 36." "Countersigned" as required for 1909 Chicago outing to West Side Park. Text reads in full "This Ticket When Properly Countersigned Will Be Accepted For Transportation In Automobile Acting As An Escort To President William Howard Taft On Thursday Afternoon, September 16th, To And From The Ball Park. Hamilton Club Transportation Committee. L.G. Muller, Chairman." This was the third and final baseball game of 1909 that Taft attended as President. The Giants defeated the Cubs 2-1 and Taft stayed all nine innings. Ticket has a couple tiny faint surface creases and very minor trace of aging. VF.
