Item Description
9.5" tall w/large bar pin and cello insert proclaiming "McKinley's Ward." Flag ribbon suspends 1.75" dia. real photo under cello cover in tin frame. Text on backing ribbon reads "First Ward - Republican Club - Canton, O. - 1896." Reverse bottom has J.H. Shaw, Philadelphia label which caused the lower 1.5" of fabric to curl. Partial hairline split of fabric at label top and crossing last five letters of "Republican" on the front. All over lt. age toning to the cream ribbon. Fine. Very limited distribution in McKinley's hometown. Rare and the first we've seen in our 46 years.
