See item #2453 and following item #2467. Offered here is Wooly Mammoth, the biggest Ice Age toy produced for the final "Dino-Riders" toy line released in 1990. While the "Dino-Riders" name remained, this series focused on Ice Age mammals. Battery-operated, Mammoth walks forward. The toy comes w/figure of Grom Neanderthal Caveman figure as well as "Full Battle Accessories" that consisted of armor and weapons that could be placed on the Mammoth. This toy was the highlight of the last series of toys. Toy comes sealed in its original 8.75x16.25x6.5" deep window box. Box has tiny traces of corner tip wear, but is Exc. w/contents Mint as sealed. From the personal collection of Lee Volpe, Tyco Toy’s Manager, Director, and VP of New Product Development (1982–1994) who was involved from the beginning of the development of Dino-Riders,
Garfield telephones and several other Tyco toys.
