Item Description
12-7/8x14" paper bag w/nice art image of Howdy includes text "I've Been To The Howdy Doody Show" w/text across bottom reading "Watch Me On Color TV Saturday Morning On N.B.C." Art/text is repeated on both sides. Hand E Bag by Equitable Paper Bag Co., Inc. 1950s. "The Howdy Doody Show" was heavily used in the promotion of sales of color TVs in the 1950s as NBC was owned at the time by RCA, an electronics company that made TVs. Bag is evenly aged and shows scattered handling creases. A couple small tears at top edge and some scattered staining. VG. Bright color. Scarce.
