Item Description
Doll is 15" tall overall w/vinyl head, life-like skin arms and fabric clothes/shoes. S&P Doll And Toy Co. ©1954 United Features Syndicate. Box has nice lid art w/comic strip panel design on top. Sluggo walks up behind Nancy who is writing "I Love Sluggo" in a heart. In second panel they are both smiling at each other w/hearts above their heads and in third panel she says "You're A Doll" and he answers "So Are You" as they both hug. Art is by cartoonist creator Ernie Bushmiller. Box has scattered surface wear w/tiny bits of paper missing from left corner lid tips. Center panel on top has erased price. Front panel lower left corner has small clear tape repair. Box about Fine. Doll has some dust soiling on hands and trace of lt. aging but vinyl is still pliable. VF/Exc. overall. Nicely designed doll w/wonderful box graphics.
