Item Description
11x11x1.25" deep box contains 1930s Marks Brothers Co. set. Box includes large illustration at center of the target w/two different non-Disney scenes showing "Marksman Target Games" in use. "Mickey Mouse Bullseye Target Game" paper label on edge. Box has obvious wear including large noticeable moisture stains, heavy dust soiling and noticeable fading of the bright orange color. There are a number of edge splits on the lid, which has has cardboard reinforcement added to the interior. Box bottom has three corner splits and has also had addition cardboard reinforcement added. Overall still displayable and about Good. This is the scarcer, smaller of two targets produced by Marks w/10.5" dia. thick cardboard target w/paper label on the front. Features large image of Mickey w/his red shorts serving as bullseye. Back of the target has attached wood block where the three included wooden legs can be attached. Complete w/7.5" long metal gun and six darts w/rubber suction cup tips. Gun has scattered trace of wear but is working and Fine/VF. Target has lt. trace of aging, scattered tiny color rubs and a few minor surface paper nicks, scattered small traces of surface paper wear along extreme outer edge. Plain reverse has scattered tanning. Overall target appearance is bright and glossy w/very strong color. Fine. Scarce as boxed.
