Item Description
3-3/8x5-3/8" shows 16 member team seated in uniform with stadium crowd in bkg. Campy is at far left and Lazaro Salazar is fifth from right. Photo is by Dominguez with his name on front and ink stamp on back. A few minor handling creases just visible in reflected light. Postally unused and Fine. Dodgers catcher Roy Campanella had his major league career cut short in 1958 when he was paralyzed in an automobile accident. He was elected to the Baseball HOF in 1969. Great item early in the career of Campy. A similar postcard for this team sold in Auction #203 June 2011 for $1,177. A sharp, clear team photo image.
