Item Description
All approx. 3.5x5.5". One is dated 1912, another 1914. Others are the same vintage. One color and one bw are the same photo showing hatless players in uniform. One shows entire team dressed as Indians with full head gear with text promotion on reverse side noting team is "Making Their Eighteenth Annual Tour Of The United States." Three are postally used. Scattered lt. dust soil and handling creases. Overall Good to VG. The Nebraska Indians were one of the most formidable exhibition teams in the country. From 1898, its first winning season, to at least 1914 the team won 1,237 games with 336 losses and 11 ties. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
