Item Description
From the same series of three known designs as previous and next items. 1-5/8" tall in two shades of brass luster plus black and red enamel paint. Here he wears "Chief" helmet and holds an axe over his shoulder plus a hose leading to a hydrant. He wears over-sized rubber boots. Luster is off end of his nose and from the border of the badge but all retains very bright brass color. Paint remains near 100% complete. A VF example. Years ago an Exc. example reached $2,828.00 in an epic battle. A few years back, one with bit more luster than this exceeded $900.00. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
