Item Description
Size 10 ring is stamped on the inner surface "10K" and has hand engraved inscription to the man receiving it "C. M. Kerr Jr./U.S.N.R.F." Exterior of ring depicts flying eagle above shield and crossed rifles on each side. Top has oval surrounding highly detailed images of two men in military uniforms with surrounding oval of text "1917 World War 1918/Wrightsville To Her Sons." This small town is located along the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania midway between York and Lancaster. With gold around $1650 per ounce the intrinsic value of the ring equals its opening bid. Ring is essentially Mint.
