Item Description
This piece is celluloid 9" long with one side showing artificial foot and lower leg with mechanical attachments to go on what remained of the upper leg. Reverse of the piece reads "E. H. Erickson Artificial Limb Co Minneapolis, Minn." Made by W&H and with their 1903 patent. Small bit of dust soiling but mostly on the reverse and not very serious at all. Very unusual for the time and only example we've seen. Morry Greener Collection.
