Item Description
c. 1920s. 5.5" wide 3.75" tall teapot with lid is stamped on underside "Shell Made In England". Also includes four cups, each 1-5/8" tall; four saucers, each 3.75" dia.; and one creamer 1.75" tall. Each has somewhat progressive design which includes Felix meeting a cat who is seated on a fence with Felix saying "Will You Walk With Felix?, Felix and the cat walking arm in arm with text "Felix Takes A Walk", Felix pointing a gun at a dog with cat nearby with text "Please Felix Don't Shoot", and Felix walking rapidly with cat running away as dog chases Felix with text "Now Felix Keep On Walking". Creamer has two images of Felix including him holding rifle and him dancing. One cup has professional repair to handle. Teapot shows typical overall glaze crazing. One cup has slight hairline. One cup and one saucer have tiny rim flakes. Most gold luster accents remain and set is Fine overall. Nice early Felix graphics.
