Item Description
Six items. Pulp is 6-7/8x10" vol. 7 #2 for Jan. 1935 with 128 pages. Nice front cover art of space craft using electricity to fire on large balloon which has man falling out for story "The White Death". Front cover has barely noticeable lead pencil letter "W" which blends well against balloon image. Scattered lt. aging on inside page edges but overall a tight, clean and Fine copy. One of only 12 pulps issued for this title, formerly titled Battle Birds. Paperbacks are each 4.25x7" with 160 pages. Group of five comprises a complete set copyright 1966 with stories by Robert Sidney Bowen who also authored the pulp story. All are first printings published by Corinth. Code numbers and titles are: CR133 Black Lightning, CR137 Crimson Doom, CR141 Purple Tornado, CR145 The Telsa Raiders, and CR148 Black Invaders vs. The Battle Birds. Last title has a few lt. creases at lower right of front cover otherwise all are Fine/VF. Nice graphics on all.
