Item Description
#81 made by Roclar Co. Beverly Hills c.1960. 4x10 1/8x1.5" deep thin cardboard box titled “Bob Clampett’s Beany & Cecil’s Bath Mitt & Soap” has nice lid graphics including Beany happily scrubbing Cecil on top with character images and soap bubbles around sides. Top has die-cut window with cellophane revealing 11.75" long terrycloth Cecil bath mitt which is the rare first version with plastic nostrils, eyes, and felt eyelashes and fins on back whereas second version has printed features which makes more sense as a bath mitt. Box has original window but with tape inside. Lt. wear around edges with a few lt. creases. VG. No soap. Mitt appears unused and just has lt. aging. Bright and Exc. Neat Cecil item.
