Item Description
c. 1930s. 3.5x3.5x6-3/8" long thin cardboard box has graphics on all six sides with audience watching black man tap dancing with black man dressed in bellhop style clothing next to him fiddling and dog dancing on stage with audience laughing. Box has heavy wear and is missing all four inside flaps, however two loose but complete outside flaps can be positioned that box appears complete for display. VG. 8.25" tall overall tin litho toy has built-in key on one side. Three figures stand atop building which has graphics on sides of audience watching them dance. When wound, man dances, bellhop plays fiddle and dog with cane moves up and down. Works well. Trace of lt. scattered wear here and there but overall Fine/VF appearance. A classic toy.
