Item Description
8" wide. 10" front to back. 7" tall. Names appear on .75" wide band attached at sides of helmet. Stamped text on back panel reads "PATd MAY 1885." .5x.5" open square area at top with two 1/8" holes on sides suggest an attachment (probably a small mounted swivel torch). 95% of silver luster remains. Designed for use in a torch light parade so popular in that era. Rare with names. Fine.
