Item Description
Large linen or linen-like cream colored fabric sheet 10.5x18" printed in black. Top reads "National American Fillmore And Donelson Ticket." Below this are various "Electors." Former President Fillmore refused to join the new Republican party and was the 1856 candidate of the American (Know Nothing) party and the Whig party. See Hake #3014. Fabric has three lt. horizontal creases and two hairline diagonal creases but these are very minor and overall condition of this 156 year old item is fresh and NM. See late arrival Scott 1852 rare ribbon #172.
