Item Description
Early covers for Detective Comics were always thrilling as well as entertaining and this one is no exception announcing "The Sensational Character Find Of 1940....Robin The Boy Wonder". The cover art is attributed to both Batman creator Bob Kane and long-time Batman artist, Jerry Robinson. Writers on this issue include Bill Finger and Jerry Siegel. The pages are off-white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 3.0 and unrestored copies of this key issue are difficult to find and seldom come up for sale. We are pleased to offer this blue-label copy of one of the top fifteen books in the collecting hobby.
