Item Description
c. early 1920s. 24" dia. well-made umbrella with metal staves and 29.25" handle and cotton cloth covering has repeat graphics of Chaplin and Coogan from the famous 1921 movie "The Kid". Image area also incorporates images of Chaplin trademark hat and cane. Scenes include Charlie sitting on barrel talking to Jackie with black cat on barrel next to him, Charlie walking with suitcases, and Charlie walking with Jackie and standing by himself. The covering has overall lt. age toning and a few very tiny holes along several of the staves. Still Fine for this delicate item. Rare. Wonderful design.
