Item Description
1950s. Made by SSS International Japan. 7.5" long cardboard box has lid graphics on two sides with firetruck with firemen rushing down highway and graphics on other two sides of firemen using hoses to put out fire which surrounds "Fire Engine" text. Box has bit of lt. wear around edges and back panel is a bit pushed in with a few lt. creases. Near Fine appearance with bright color. 7.5" long painted tin fire engine has hard plastic hubs and rubber wheels. Has tin litho accent plates. Working friction with siren. Grille is marked "GMC" and sides are marked "SSSFD". Slight loss of plating on front bumper. Bright and Exc. Old store stock.
