Item Description
2x4.75x1.25" deep box pictures McKinley and also has slogans: “Gold Standard./Protection, Reciprocity and Good Times.” Lid has lt. all over wear but all is readable. Box bottom has two splits on corners and interior has original cotton liner. The soap figure has missing feet as is very typical but otherwise all intact with gold cord at neck holding label that repeats the text on the box lid. The figure’s back reads “Monarch Soap Co./Lancaster, Pa.” One of the classic figural items of the 1896 campaign. Fine.
