Item Description
c. 1930s. 11" wide, 12" tall overall flocked wood travel agency brochure rack for steamship company. Wonderful nautical design with deck flooring, mooring posts, and life preserver. Hanging brass signs denote various French Line ports of call including "New York, Antilles, Algerie-Tunisie, Maroc", and "Corse". Rack holds one card with color art image with steamship Normandie. Text at top of backboard is barely legible, metal pieces have a bit of aging here and there and life preserver decal text is a bit worn. Overall Fine. Great Art Deco display item.
