Item Description
Original 4x4-5.8" card with "NASA" logo holding 3.5" full color button showing the entire crew of "Challenger STS: 51-L." Reverse of the card lists the 28 different buttons available in the "Space Shuttle Collection" from licensed company "Unique Button Works" in Silver Springs, Florida. Card has a few scattered small creases but the button itself is Mint as issued. Challenger exploded 73 seconds into its flight. On this button McAuliffe appears second from left in back row and on the right in the back row is the other female astronaut Judith Resnik. Scarce, particularly on its original card.
