Item Description
9" choice color illustration on massive celluloid button with reverse featuring a foldout black cardboard easel (unused) plus a cord for suspension. This button was made by Trimble of Pittsburgh although it does not carry the company name. It comes complete with a generic but original manila paper envelope. Pictured are astronauts Armstrong, Collins, and Aldrin with the Command Module and Lunar Module in the upper background. Celluloid has couple of pinpoint marks in reflected light but this is as produced and the piece is essentially Mint as made. An extremely limited production run of around 25 examples according to the owner of the firm at the time this was produced. Rare.
