8x10" matte finish photo of Cooper as the tearful Skippy, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To My Best Pal Ralf, With Best Wishes and Love From Jackie Cooper Skippy”. A few tiny edge and corner creases but image area will mat and frame to VF+ appearance. Skippy, based on the classic Percy Crosby comic strip, became a 1931 Paramount feature film directed by Cooper’s uncle Norman Taurog. Cooper was nominated for the Academy Award for best actor, the youngest actor ever at the age of nine to be nominated for an Oscar as best actor. The movie catapulted young Cooper to super stardom.
