Item Description
36" long box with commemorative model 1938B produced by Daisy in 1989. Box has art image on front and back with Red Ryder and Little Beaver riding on horseback at left side and art image of rifle at right side. Front panel has attached large sticker w/text "Red Ryder Classic Free Comic Book With Purchase Of Red Ryder Classic BB Gun". Comes w/16 page reprint ©1938 1943 which reproduces cartoonist creator Fred Harman's early Sunday pages. Back cover has nice facsimile ad for 1,000 Shot Red Ryder Carbine. Box is missing instruction book. A few color rubs around edges but box otherwise bright and VF/Exc. Gun is Mint as issued. Comic has a few lt. creases at top edge but overall VF. Great for display.
