Hand painted plaster ©1947 L.L. Rittgers. 12" wide 8.75" tall overall with wonderful depiction of umpire throwing out player who has broken his bat over head of player who is knocked out on ground with lump on forehead and crossed eyes with umpire leaning on his rump and manager with tears in his eyes. Reverse side is complete with original hooks for hanging and Suttle and Rittgers Inc. Chicago paper label. One of rarest, best designed and most sought after Rittgers pieces in choice N. Mint condition.
