6x9" high quality hardcover ©1915, 1916 by International Textbook Company. Book has over 300 pages divided into sections including cover designing, newspaper illustrating, caricaturing and cartooning, magazine and book illustrating. Contains numerous b/w and several full color illustrations by noted artist of the period including Maxfield Parrish, Sarah Stilwell Weber, Coles Phillips, Alonzo Kimble, J.C. Coll, J.C. Leyendecker, Kemble, Frost, and Arthur Young. Inside front cover has illustrated paper stamp from WWI "War Service Library". One inside page has .75" moisture mark at lower left, otherwise book is clean, tight and VF/Exc. Comprehensive and very well done.
